Okay, I know… I haven’t kept you posted for a while. Sorry for that. It’s been a busy winter…

Now spring is on the way, you can hear it in the birds but also in the music coming out of my studio! Not only did I do a lot of shows since last years summer but I also have been working hard on Orit’s album. I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again, it’s going to be an amazingly beautiful piece of work. Down to earth and painfully honest, just what you’d wish, and more, from a singer/songwriter who’s been on the road since ages.You’ll have to wait though, we’ll keep it hidden for a while until the time is right to release it. 😉

For sure this is not the only thing I have been doing. I also wrote a couple of songs with the Dutch singerella PennyLeen and also contributed to her album with my guitar and banjo playing in the studio at Eindhoven. It’s going to be a whole different sound. Just see if you will be able to point out my work on her album Still Waters, Savage Waves which is due to be released on October 1st 2017 with a release party at the Luxor in Arnhem.  

I am also working on an even more different kind ‘a’ thing. I’m working on seven, seven minutes long soundscapes for a group of artists under the name of Zim (ZiniZ Inspiration Movement). Special about this is that all the music/sound is acoustically recorded on location at ZiniZ Deventer. So, no electronics, only real instruments played by real people!!

Last but not least, In February I started working on an album with my colleague Enrico Berretta. It will be recorded at my Ragged Mountain Studio and I will do the production, recording, mixing and mastering but I might also play some instruments here and there. More to come…
